JON DUNMORE PRODUCER
Albums, Videos, Sketches.

A Producer is a facilitator. To put it bluntly: He makes shit happen. Whether it's organizing a video shoot, arranging songs as Musical Director, or just shooing people away from the pool tables and back to work, it's the producer's job to channel all the disparate elements of a project into a pathway to progress; it's kinda like juggling volatile atomic particles and making them explode in the right direction... after all, when hydrogen atoms collide and release their gargantuan energy, you get--The Sun!

FOR SOLO ARTISTS
If you are a singer-songwriter who needs musicians (for studio or live), I can provide one or more to complete your band; or I can provide a full backing band (drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, backing vocalists, etc.)

JON DUNMORE DIRECTOR
A Producer's job is amorphous, and is different with each project, and can sometimes change over the course of the project, but the Director's job, though all-encompassing as well, is always to Get The Shot.

In most of these videos (unless otherwise noted), I have acted in capacity of Producer and Director (assisted by Keith Barrows of O.A.F.). All shots were storyboarded, plotted and blocked, and everyone was shooed away from the pool tables at regular intervals...

STUDIO PRODUCER
Some artists imagine that a Producer's job is to stick his nose in and add unnecessary stuff to their masterwork -- but most of the time, it's the Producer's job to take stuff away.

As obvious as this sounds, a producer arranges your instruments to ensure that they're not all playing the same things at the same time and hogging all the same frequencies.

Think of the Producer as an Editor--ensuring the clarity and focus of your work reaches the masses.

So give me a call and let's make shit happen.

LIGHTING DIRECTOR
Technically, I was not a "producer" in this capacity, but this is the most appropriate section to list my stints as Lighting Director for midsize touring acts, like Nancy Sinatra and Celebrities Onstage, et al.

LIGHTING DIRECTOR
During my touring, I worked with parcan technology and a few moving lights, but I have not kept up with the state of the art of moving-light technology and computerized lightshows--so as long as it's a project under that bar, I can assist you.
